Bad days coming all at once is a joke! They have yet to even have a good day.You can't continually put the same people on the field and expect the results to change.Here is another example of great strategie used by Coach Greene,Two out bottom of the 7th and he has our batter bunt to get the finale out of the game.This was in a one run game against a very weak pitcher that had already given up at least 3 runs.

I think the lead-off batter from Blackman has the green light to bunt I dont think the coach gave him the bunt signal...if u are talking about the Lavergne game. I do agree some changes need to be made and I think blackman has the talent to win more games than they are showing...but they need to do something.

Blackman has good coaching. Unfortunately, the good coaches are assistants and they don't make decisions. Get rid of Greene and this team will win games. Enough said!!!!!!!

Since we still can't score here is some line-up help. Justin McDaniel in Left field,Rob Nell in Center field, Marcus Barnes in Right field,Josh Andru at 3rd,Brandon Jefferies at SS,Kyle Motley at 2nd,David Price or Michael House at 1st(depends on who's pitching),Kevin Prater catching ,Dh's Will Bowman or Ryan Cole,Pinch runner Jonte Haggins.There are also better players not even on the team.Please go get Scotty Hipp,Kris Lee and Adam Isabell.It's not to late to turn things around.

i have kept up with blackmon since the school has been there and i have friends that i went to middle school with that go there and some of the names you mentioned i notice and they have potential, but where is Jake Seely.

Jake would replace Mc Daniel or Nell when ever they pitch and would be a dh, pinch runner.

so what's the real deal with the coaching situation there, i've read the articles in the paper but that's a lot of hearsay to be listening to from the kids. If the ball i sput in their court there will be a lynchin going on up there. What's the real story?

greene's fate is supposed to be decided today. steve heath wrote a great column in the dnj this morning about this whole mess, i agree with him 100%

The internet is a very compelling piece of evidence in this case.

 

If you will check the date of noragarm's (also known as upsetthatmysondoesntplay) 1st post in this topic, it was a few days before this incident. Noragarm was already griping about the coach and rallying troops (misery loves company). Then when the incident happened, they had their fuel to add to their fire. Just my opinion.

 

The coach probably made a mistake, discipline him accordingly, but not unjustly.

i hope dr. nixon realizes the potential significance of this case. if he decides to fire greene, it will give booster clubs/parent clubs, etc authority all over the state the ability to choose a coaches' fate, you can be guaranteed athletic departments all over the state are waiting for the results of this case. personally, i think the boosters and the parents have had a bone to pick from day one and when greene makes a mistake they try to go in for the kill. greene shoudl be reprimanded, not fired. people keep in mind these are the same group of parents and boosters that were a big reason why kevin woodson resigned and bout got alsup to do so as well. i plead dr. nixon to reprimand, not fire greene, cuz if he does he succumbs to the will of the parents and the boosters and would change the face of high school athletics in tennessee

At one level I'm really gonna miss high school ball. But things like this make me kinda glad we're moving on to college next year.
