13AA/7AA Series Cancelled

It appears the matchups are set, based on last years district finish( 1 vs 1, 2 vs 2,etc). That's ok. The times are yet to be set.

Livingston Academy vs Gibson Co. is a great matchup. Jackson Co vs Westview is another. As we go down the list, the mismatches appear.

As I recall 7AA 1 or 2 was a coin flip, as was 3 or 4, and 5 or 6.

Let's not forget that the teams that look best in these early-season matchups may look completely different toward the end of the season. Remember last years Oliver Springs/Livingston Academy matchups? OS won the Hall of Fame by one in OT and LA won the state semis by about 35. These are going to be exciting matchups, but lets not read too much into them.

1. Livingston Academy vs Gibson Co.

3. Upperman vs Obion Co.

4. York vs Dyer Co.

5. Smith Co. vs Crockett Co.

6. Cannon Co. vs Union City

Game times are yet to be determined.

The only hangup in the negotiations is the awarding of the broadcast rights....looks like they could go to WUTM at this point for 10-12K....working on it, should have a press release very soon.......
