Lawerence Couny is tiny with wind blowing out at most times.

 

wildthings, I believe this is the 2nd time you've dissed Lawrence Co's field this year. Its was expanded in 2003 to 330 in the corners and is 371 in center. What is your experience there anyway?

Chuckey-Doak has to be one of the smallest along with Greeneville down the right field line (285). Tennessee High's is fairly small. Morristown East's left field line is maybe 250 but you have to hit it over a 40 ft. net to get it out of there.

I don't think the balls fly out like they used to after they lengthened it.

 

But i remember routine pop flys going out. I saw a kid get fisted and hit it out opposite field.

You must be confused...Santa Fe's field is 310 in the corners and 350-360 in center. If you would like you can come to Santa Fe with a tape measure and see for yourself. You must have good eyes to measure the field from the bench. What team did you play for?

I have played on the field 3 times, it looks shorter than that but I will take your word. I know the ball carries out really well then. Trust me it is harder to hit a homerun off a guy who throws 60 than a guy throwing 80. So when we played you guys it was always a struggle because the pitching wasn't the greatest.

I played for Fairview the last three years, I graduated last year.

Cheatham County's field is not too deep and district tourney is held there, im sure there will be some bombs hit out there.

Well ive played there about 75 times and i agree with wormy. Not 310.

Greenbriar is the premier launching pad. It is maybe 290-300 down the lines and like 330-340 to dead center. There is a road behind the field so there is no room for expansion...

 

Last year in a game between Springfield and Greenbriar there were six balls that left the park... three for each team.

The ball flies out of William Blount if you pull it to left field, even with the tall fence, it only takes about a 310 shot to get it out of there. Also it seems like the ball at Heritage just takes off there, all the way around, a hitter's park definately.
