Interesting....Good observation, I think, on Centennial being strong this year.

 

Brentwood will fall off the map this season, and for one or two more to come.

 

Hendersonville could have, probably should have beaten Franklin, Franklin should have beaten Germantown. Coulda woulda ...I know!

 

Why Smyrna? Oakland going to be that bad? Lincoln Co losing 4 or 5 standouts but doesn't coaching count?

 

Lebanon and Franklin Co. better than Franklin??? Franklin has a Quarterback, Defense should be best in 5A ... wait and see! Tim Johnson has won 22 games in two seasons as head coach.

How are these rankings determined? There is no way 3 region 5 teams are ahead of Gallatin...but whatever.

Eh, I wouldn't put too much stock in ANY rankings put out this early. Not only do I not see Franklin being as bad as a 13... I don't see them being that close to Ravenwood. Ravenwood will be better, no doubt, but they're still not quite there yet I don't think.

i think that neccessarily that oakland will be that bad, but anytime you have to replace 18 seniors who were the heart and soul of your team, its gonna be tough. oakland is very talented but very young, so spring and summer ball will be absolutely crucial for the pats, this will be LOADED in 05 though, so 2004 will have some bumps for the pats, but exciting nonetheless

dont underestimate smyrna, i think smyrna at #2 is a good spot for them, riverdale-smyrna will be a great game this year

I dont see Antioch that high, as well as Hendersonville. Both maybe in the top 10, but a lower ranking.

Hendersonville lose a lot? If they had gotten by Franklin, I think they would have given Germantown AND Riverdale runs for their money and I think could have very well won state.

Pretty sure they lost there starting QB. They still have Sawyer at RB, so they will be strong there. Also lost Dobbs on both sides of the ball as well. They will make the playoffs, but not sure how well they will do though.

Everybody please keep predicting a let down for Franklin this year! Don't expect anything from Tim Johnson and company! Please overlook them all year long.....then assume, week after week that they are just getting the breaks and are not really that good......all the way to the final week of the season in when the snow is flying!

I have difficulty think Coffee County will be anywhere near that high this coming year. I know they return a great RB and a more experienced O-line, but they lost more than 2/3 of a mediocre defense from last year.
