DII Regions

Look for JPII to pull off what other might say is an upset agianst father ryan on thursday. With father ryan having recently lost to MBA recently and with JPII defeating MBA on monday i feel that with its confidence JPII will get the victory.

The seedings are final now for this region they are as follows:

#1 BGA vs #8 Sewanee (Forfeit)

#2 MBA vs #7 MTCS

#3 Ryan vs #6 BA

#4 USN vs #5 JPII (These seeds may be flipped i'm not sure)

 

How does everyone think this will play out? Anyone see any upsets? I think Ryan vs BA could play out to be a good one. Also JPII and USN should be a good one. Anyone have any comments?

JP2 has a lot better chance than anyone is giving them credit. Hopefully some people who just don't like JP2 will start realize that are becoming a future Division II powerhouse. In futrure years they will be GRRREAT. That's right Tony the Tiger GRRREAT. With 5 freshmen starters the future is bright. They just lack a little size, so by next year they will be GRRREAT.

Any games played today? i know that the middle region starts tomorrow, but were there any in the east or west that played today? Also, what time is USN JP2 tomorrow and who ended up with the 4 out of those 2 teams, bc if its USN then i say that they will win, bc they have some sort of jinks on their field, but if its JP2 then it should be a good one and i wouldnt be surprised to see JP2 pull it out

The first DII East team to reach the Region finals (and Spring Fling) is Webb. Webb beat Baylor tonight 1-0. Webb will play the winner of the Knox Catholic v. McCallie/Notre Dame winner. McCallie v. ND tomorrow at McCallie. Winner at Catholic next Tuesday.

The JPII vs. USN game is at 5:00 at USN. Should be a good game. JPII has already tied and beat USN this season.

Yea that should be a good one, i won't be able to make it however, as i am playing at 6 at Ryan. Good luck to JP2 playing on that field there is some kinda jinks or something there i am determined. What do people think about the rest of the region? is anyone giving BA a chance against Ryan?

Goal came about 20-25 minutes into 1st half. Shots were pretty even, but Webb had several chances in the second half (especially late).
