DB will be loaded this year with or without Lamon Williams. They have nearly everyone back. Can't wait to see Maryville scrimmage DB in the fall.

As much as i hate to say it, i think that DB will take it yet again this year, if they don't get a big head. I'll still be there yelling for Jeff Co no matter what. but what is comes down to is that no one really knows how it will end till the time comes. so in other words we'll all find out the truth when it comes this fall.

DB has enough talent to win the region without Lamon,but once the playoffs start I can`t see them going that far without him.He is such an explosive player teams have to game plan around him on D. He can make an impact on a game without even catching a ball because he will draw a double team. It became clear last year what DB looks like without Lamon,O.R didn`t have to have their whole defensive game plan centered on Lamon,they won the game.

While some of that is true, we held Lamon to one catch for like 15 yards and they still beat us. It was a close game, but MacMillan and Duran are a force of their own. And D-B might not have another Lamon, but they will find another good reciever to compliment their already effective offense.

Thats what I`m saying.Lamon may have only had once catch,but he draws so much attention the other guys on the team get one on one coverage.It also opens up the running game because the defensive backs have to think pass first. If he's not playing this season,DB won`t have that decoy they can use.Not to take away from the other good players on that team,but when the playoffs role around everyone else will have just as good players,but everyone else won`t have a player like Lamon.
