Bingham's times in the 100 and 200 were the best in all divisions. His distance in the triple jump was 1 foot longer than the D1 AAA winner. Too bad the TSSAA doesn't allow more than three track events. Bingham would have easily won both hurdles.

Isn't he from another state, and just going to school in Tennessee? Not saying he should be ineligble or McCallie did anything wrong but I think the highest place in-state finishers in his events should also be recognized.

Yeah, great idea! We'll only allow people who can prove that both parents have lived in Tennessee their entire lifetimes. Maybe we should make sure their grandparents lived in the state their entire lifetimes. We'll be able to get rid of soccer players who's parents are here illegally. Maybe the TSSAA should put in a residency requirement. Maybe a third division for students who can't prove they're from the state. How about one for students who don't know who their daddy is?

Nope. Just another first place award for the top finishing non-boarding student, if the boarding student is from out of state. The other things are silly and take away from my question. The reason I thought of it was something in the Chattanooga paper calling him the fastest athlete in Tennessee or something along those lines.

Stop being a crybaby and go out and compete. There are kids from public schools that live with family members and friends because their parents are transfered out of town. Yes, I know that this may not be legal but I really don't care. Who cares about state championships, you need to have your goals set to be a world champion.

I have a question, what was Bingham so upset about after the 200m race? If it was something personal, nobody has to answer, but he was definitely upset about something.

POed that his time wasn't better. He thought he could have run faster. Look for him to be recognized nationally at Wake Forest.

He told me he was mad because around the turn he almost came out of his lane and had to "slow down for 3 strides which killed my time" he also wished he had some help.

I hope you dont mean freshman year. I think he will be by his junior year, but not next year.
