Here are a few blasts from the past:

Tom Moore - Goodlettsville

Wayne Bush - Glencliff

Keith Davis - Overton

Adolph Groves - Maplewood

Preston Brown - Maplewood

Al Young - Maplewood

Thomas Goodloe - Maplewood

Frog Campbell - Startford

Mike Coleman - Startford

Erik Gardner - Stratford

Jeff Womack - Warren Co.

Randy Payne - Hunters Lane

Fred Payne - Franklin

Goo-Baby (name?) - Gallatin

Oakland Back that went to Texas A&M

You would have to add Arcentae Broome to that list. Stratford had a stable of backs during those years. Does anyone remember a back that was better than all of the backs at Stratford during those years, nicknamed "Toe Frog." Unfortunately, he was killed before ever reaching his potential
