What High School has the best Cross Country team

Everyone is talking about siegal this year.....Tullahoma beat them in the first mid-state race of the season. Blah blah blah They were missing a runner....its hard to overcome a 1-2-3 finish from tullahoma runners. Tullahoma will have very good chances to beat them every race this year. In this race that tullahoma won, their 4th runner had a horrible race and the 5th's race was not much better. Be sure to add tullahoma among the talk being that they beat siegal. They deserve a little respect.

your right, tullahoma did look good and does deserve respect. i didn't know they had the boy who ran for franklin county. i was just picking one from the area and even though tullahoma did beat siegel, it was by only 3, and they were without their top guy from last season. they were also 2nd in the state last year so it's hard to go against them.

I believe that White House-Heritage will be in the top 10 if not 5 in the state this year. They have several runners who can and do finish high each race. They're someone to watch being such a young school. The Doty boys are exceptional runners with high endurance and stamina.

Didn't Tullahoma beat siegel most of last year until it really really counted and Sigel took home the big harware.

In 1-A, 2-A I believe the Elizabethton Cyclones will be in the fight for that state title in 04. They are pretty good this year. Could be as good if not better than in 03.

Yes tullahoma won every race against siegal last year until the state meet when we all had bad races with the exception of Michael Welsh who finished 8th overall. We lost our number 1 or 2 runner but gained one from Franklin County that is just as good if not better than the one we lost. So dont count Tullahoma out this year.

What about Farragut HS? They usually have 3 or 4 guys that run mid 15s (or they used to at least).

Sullivan Central is my pick... with long standing vets like Chris Blackburn and the always outstanding Jeremy Payne i believe this team has what it takes to go the distance (literally!) They also have other outstanding runners such as timmy fox and brett barger (i wont even get on how great jonathan wallace is) and remember ben schodowski has what it takes to contend also... this is such an outstanding and they will run in memory of their coaches decreased cat this season (RIP erny) COUGARS = STATE TITLE 2004 thumb

Elizabethton!!! AA..im not tryin to brag...but we look good at a shot for AA state championship..after a runner up in last year..WE ARE STRONG...ask boone and crockett..

 

 

but ill give it too boone... KETRON CAN RUN and they have strong 2..3..and 4 runners
