much to my happiness today i pick up this week's copy of SI: On campus ( i go to u mich in ann arbor) and see that knoxville has been named the number one college football weekend experience. the big house is great but neyland will always have a special place in my heart!

We proved to the nation that there's nothing like UT football in the entire nation. I hope Corso and Herstreit were watching cause they should have been there.

I have been to Knoxville several times to watch the Vols play. There is NOTHING like that feeling of being packed in that stadium , surrounded by 107,000+ rabid .." Big Orange" fans!!!! It almost gives ya a "giddy" feeling.....LOL

My favorite thing was that the title of worst weekend was given to Vanderbilt.

At least Middle doesn't try to be something it isn't -- they're in the Sun Belt instead of concealing mid-major talent, NAIA fan support, and a squad whose biggest asset is its team chefs under the guise of being an SEC football program.

Cept being surrounded by 112,000+ rabid Michigan fans. I was at the largest crowd ever to watch a football game ever - Michigan/OSU last year. Beat that. But Knoxville is louder, I will admit, but it should be considering the stadium is like stacked right on top of the field.
