As I travel to Knoxville this weekend I like to see some of the state high school games. Myself and Lee also like to read up on some of history between schools. This Friday night West Tennessee is going to have a classic show down of the, so far, top teams in West Tennessee. As I read this message board it seems like some of those folks at Crockett have forgotten the past. It has been stated in papers that no team have ever gained 400 yards of offense on Crockett's defense. That no team has held Crockett under a 100 yards of offense. All of that is a lie!! McNairy Central has did that time after time. Grant it that Crockett has had some good teams the past three years. But before that where was Crockett. Both coaches are great men and leaders of there respectful clubs, but Crockett has got the best coach.....in Alamo, McNairy has the best in West Tennessee, and the numbers do not lie. Friday night Crockett will not be able to re-live the past three years. Let the firework begin!! Lee take the Bobcat mascots head off they can't see you. Hope all is well in West Tennessee, Lee and I will cover the Tennessee vs. Auburn game Saturday night, hope all of you can make it to the hill.

Not so fast my friend.

Since 2000, P.A. Pratt has has led Crockett County to 52 wins against only seven losses.

No coach, or school has won 50 in west Tennessee over the same time period.

So based on wins, it is obvious that Pratt isn't just the best coach in Alamo, he is the best coach in the west.

On the other hand, or finger, no state championships. And only one won in West Tennessee over that same time — Huntingdon's Mike Mansfield.

Thanks for reading and watch me punch Kirk in the face on Gameday.

Well, we haven't done so well in the past, but McNairy has the momentum on its side......after comin off the Hardin County game, Blake Browder has come out of his shell, settin a school record for most consecutive complete passes in a game with 13 in a row. McNairy will put up a fight and a good one at that, but the fans are hardcore and if this team loses it will let down a whole community and they know that.....so they are gonna win!!
