Jeff. Co has 3 freshman dressing on varsity this year that will continue to improve as the year goes along. Jeff Co has a great starting 5 so unless some injuries occur or disciplinary actions happen(all if's) I wouldn't see these 3 girls starting but they will play throughout the year. The three freshman are Katisha Mattison, Kelsey Elliott, and Laura Potts. All three girls are great athletes and have a good understanding of the game. All three of these girls are in the 5'6 to 5'8 range. As the season goes along the 3 girls will adapt to the pace of play and skill level of their opponents.

Mattison-great leaper, quick, the ability to play both the forward and gaurd positions, and was a great scorer at the middle school level. If Mattison will play inside of Pott's system she will be a great player and I would look for her to be a go to player in the up coming years.

Elliott-smart, good vision, good 3 point shooter, hard worker, plays good d, boxes out really well. Elliott lacks confidence in her shot after a couple misses, if she can get past that she'll be a great scorer and weapon to Coach Potts. Elliott plays all 3 gaurd posistions.

Potts-quick, smart, plays extremely hard, plays, tough d, plays the gaurd position, sees the floor well, and looks to get everyone involved. Haven't gotten to see much of Laura play over the past few years, but when I have seen her play she plays with a lot of heart and determination. She'll gain experience this year, and I see her being a great player for coach potts in the upcoming years.

These 3 freshman have a great group of seniors and juniors a head of them to guide and teach them. These 3 will learn a lot about the system and pace from kyle, huff, lyke, sinard, and rickard.

The Lady Rebels of Obion County Central have an outstanding Freshmen class with two starting in Jana Roney and Gentry Reedy and two more 9th graders coming off the bench in Whitney Williams and Emily McGee. They've already made an impact on a team undefeated at 4-0 and have provided the Lady Rebels with more depth than they've had in a number of years  They're putting points on the board and playing good defense which has impressed OC first year head coach

Eddie Suiter. With the returning starters in Jenna Roney, Jennifer Davis and Kendra Boykin along with a great group of newcomers, this could be a special season for the Lady Rebels thumb

AC has a great group of freshman this year that will contribute to the school's program this year and the future. Colyer, Pittman, and Leffew have played AAU every year with competitive teams since they were 9 & 10 years old and are fundamentally sound. The supporting cast of Forbes, Parks, and Young add additional height and speed that will give this team both and inside and outside game.

Smyrna Bulldogs have Emily Pollock coming up this year. She is the back up point guard for senior Brittany Boyd. I think Emily will be very good in the future. She is VERY fast and a good shooter from the outside. She always adds a spark when coming off the bench. She gonna be a great player the older she gets!!
