Alcoa and Rockwood wont play each other in the semi-finals....they might play each other in the quater finals and the winner of that game has to play someone out in middle tn or possibley chatt. if Tyner is in the mix.

Alcoa will breeze until the semifinals. No upper East Tennessee or Knoxville area 2A team can handle the Tornadoes. Alcoa is that good. Lipscomb,Tyner and Goodpasture are the only 2A teams in the eastern brackett that have a shot of beating Alcoa.

Alcoa has a real challenge in staying focused while playing teams they should beat handily. At the same time they must improve their game to be prepared to face Lipscomb, Tyner, or Goodpasture. Maryville faces the same situation. Since the Alcoa game the Rebels margin of victory has been around 37 points. These games are good for the younger guys to get some work. But, how do you make sure your first teamers are ready to go four quarters when they meet some stiff opposition?
