REBELRON
MOWest had one of the best defenses I ever seen. If MOWest had any offense last year they would have been unbeatable.
TynerRamFan
But, how do you make sure your first teamers are ready to go four quarters when they meet some stiff opposition?825409104 ...Play each game as if it were the "State Championship"...I am not a coach, howver, during the playoffs I wouldn't care what the score I would play the majority of my starters a minimum of three(3) full quarters...that way when it's time to go all four (plus+ some) you will have conditioning you need...the downside is that in games that are a blowout, you risk injury to your starters but that's the way it is during playoffs anyway...it's now or never!!! FBEmeritus
Not so simple. How do you explain Maryville's loss to MoWest last year? Did Maryville overlook a team they should have beaten easily? 825409223 I explained it in another thread like this. Maryville did not play well. It happends, even to the best. Just ask Un of Miami this morning! Ron, I generally agree with you on most things but MoreWest's "D" was not the best I ever saw and they did't really stop Maryville. Maryville stopped themselves. No excuses but you give any good team the ball 6-7 times, and it can hurt ya.

Budrock
That's right STARSNBARS! Alcoa defeated Hampton 40-12 in the second round of the single A playoffs in 1979. It was a very physical game that was, at least it seemed, alot closer than the score. Ask your little sister, as I recall she skipped the Rebels game to go see the Tornadoes on the road. Let's hope the Tornadoes keep their focus as this doesn't look like it will be much of a game on paper. As I have said before, the game ain't played on paper and there are no second chances in the playoffs. Good luck to the Rebels and the Tornadoes as they represent Blount County. Let's hope it ends up like '78 and 2000.
