For my 1,000th post...I would like to congratulate the Greenbrier Bobcats in their win over SS....another victory for Region 5. Of course I was hoping for my Patriots to be here instead but it was not meant to be this year.

The score was low...probably to no one's surprise......we need some details!!!

Looks like Coachhard missed the game due to basketball practice.

I will say the GB fans were as focused as the team and kept a low profile this week.....guys...it is a special time for you...speak up a little more this next week.... you aren't going to jinx your team......they have earned it!!

I would like to point out that the GB are totally behind their team One of the last posts by a SS fan on the thread from reason256 picked SS to put "it" on the Bobcats. This was the same guy in late Sept who was calling for the head coaches's head. I have not seen any second guessing by the GB fans on here this year at all....everyone has stuck together through thick and thin....just some "small" things that help add up to a championship run.

Don't know much about Kingsbury...but they better bring their A game!!!!!!!!!!

Congrats to the Bobcats....you did Middle Tn proud!!!!!!!!!!!

i have a question for bulldog69........what grade are you in? besides that.......i congradulate greenbriar for getting this far again. i went to greenbriar/crockett co game last year and found their school and fans to be alot like the schools in west tenn. i enjoyed my trip. i dont think they can get through kingsbury and fulton, but those kids will look back someday and be proud of what they did for their school, family, friends.

Gee....mikedwhousesnocapitalletters...... All I did was pay tribute to a VERY GOOD Greenbrier team ...sounds like a little sour grapes from you man.

By the way...aren't you the same guy a way back that said not to get too excited about Herndon's game against Mont Central and that "anybody could do that"...hmmmm....another late comer on coacht as a "camper"...poor guy

Good game tonight fellas. Ya'll played some good ball. You brought a lot (and I mean alot) of well coached football players to the Nest, and came out with a victory. My hat's off to you. Good luck with the rest of the season, and congratulations on your victory.

Hopefully we will see you again in the playoffs next year.

GO HAWKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

WOW!!! Nothing like entering your home town only to be greated by 3 Police Cars to escort you into town!!!!!!

GREAT GAME TONIGHT CATS!!!!! I was a little nervous at first, but like always yall pulled through and played a great game. You could have easily folded many times, but you fought hard and pulled off a great win.

Now, on to next week. Practice hard, STAY FOCUSED. We're behind you ALL THE WAY!!!!!!

    • You are so correct!  It’s really 99.9% of academia want to change to way that education is not only taught but the way it is viewed.  The pendulum has definitely swung as far to the left as possible and eventually will swing to the right much too far.  I have always  said that politics and one’s personal religious views need to stay out of education,  but for the last 40 years education has been running full throttle to what we have today.  If the social experiment that we are currently experiencing continues it is only a matter of time before the public school system in the USA completely collapses and all kids attend private schools or even worse don’t go to school.
    • He was a bruise but Aaron Dykes is HVA’s best RB ever.
    • I am talking about what they both did for their team. They both carried their team for four years while they were both there. I wasn’t really comparing them that would be unfair. Bishop is on a level of his own.
    • Dorian Eskridge had a great Junior year, highlighted by a great game to lead HVA to an upset win at OR that year. I think that was 2010. In 2011 OR won at HVA. OR had a real good QB that year l think. Dorian Eskridge had a great senior year also. He always played hard from the DCM videos l saw.
