Franklin vs Riverdale

which facilities did you see...... Little Rock Central has a huge stadium saw that about a month ago...Arkansas football is just about one step below texas so the indoor facilities are to be expected if just a step below texas fball....TN is about 4 steps below

Central is impressive, isn't it? But even like a 4A school in Arkansas has better facilities than I've seen in Tennessee (except, their field stunk). I don't know that I'd agree with it being a step below Texas.

 

I'll tell ya this though... I went to a game Friday night in Sarasota, Florida. Kickoff was 7:30... lines at the gates already at 5:00 PM (rest assured Franklin fans who know me, I was first in line!) and they weren't supposed to open until 6:00. They decided to open them early at 5:45 and there was a STAMPEDE for the seats. One person commented "this is worse than the stores were this morning." It was nuts. 12,000 were eventually in the stadium before they began turning people away.

 

What that has to do with Franklin vs Riverdale, I'm not real sure. Just thought it was interesting since we were talking about the level of high school football in Tennessee compared to other states. I had NEVER seen anything like it.

Yup your right, and Franklin will be sharing that "title" about 9PM Saturday night, but wait, Germantown does have something Franklin will never have! A State Championship title... plus Jeff Cottam, Mr Football!

Ok yea Franklin put up 31 on Germantown, they better hope they can put up bout 30 points again to have a chance, honestly, Franklin hasn't seen a team like this.  10 or 14 points definitly isnt gonna cut it, yea that defense has been helping your O out, but you can't be running the ball 40 something times a game, The Riverdale D will pick up on that, they held some pretty more than average offenses in check.  And I think the Franklin offense is less than average.  Mikrut prepare to run for your life everytime you pass, or prepare to get blasted when you run that option.

 

P.S.  Your only chance is to bust out a vintage formation and try to confuse Riverdale for bout a half, and get ontop of the, maybe you might have a chance.

 

P.S.S.  This is Riverdale's 4th or 3rd straight state championship game.  They might just be on a mission, they might just be a little fired up, dont ecpect them to overlook the Rebels.

BDD, not that I could find. I'm surprised though with the amount of talent that comes out of the state.

 

It was VERY awkward tonight at the ULM basketball game doing the Tomahawk Chop... though, I guess it really shouldn't be since the Franklin band does it, too.
