BigDogDaddy
naw he shouldnt be. BDD is just quoting something from the movie animal house. a absolutely great movie thumb 825455834 Now... who feels silly? My father (USNA '42) spent 1942 & 1943 in a Destroyer doing convoy duty in the Atlantic and 1944 & 1945 on a Battleship fighting off kamikazees in the Pacific. As for me I went to fraternity parties and watched Animal House(with my fraternity brothers) when it came out in the Fall of 1978. http://warriorsmovie.co.uk/soundclips/clips/clip7.mp3 Edited November 30, 2004 by BigDogDaddy
dreamin_football
From the looks of the picks, Melrose and Huntingdon are the biggest underdogs. Something like 77% picking Maryville over Melrose and 82% picking Alcoa over Huntingdon.
unbiasedspectator
1A-64% picking DCA over Boyd Buchanan 2A-81% picking Alcoa over Huntingdon 3A-55% picking Fulton over Greenbrier 4A-77% picking Maryville over Melrose 5A-95% picking Riverdale over Franklin
rcombs
Won't it be funny when Huntingdon wins it again? Especially after how big UNDERDOGS they were last year. Hehehehehehe. Go West TN!
Hiker
I know i dont see how Boyd Buchanan is ranked 4th when they are the defending state champions? 825455633 Rankings don't mean anything in high school football. That's why there are playoffs. If Boyd wins on Friday and the AP and Coach's Polls are split, then you can complain. Oh wait, nevermind. Franklin is the biggest underdog by a good margin. But I still think they are the underdog.
justin groves 03
According to some Smith County posts, Greenbrier has no chance. Franklin also.
FHSrebel27
Someone want to find the link to iamoz's post a couple weeks ago about the biggest upsets in the Big Ones all season long... I know if Franklin wins, it's gonna be near the top (if not on top). GO REBELS!

I remember a similar prognostication last year against Libscomb.
Falcon2
If AE is better than the rest of 3a....then why arent they playing for the state title?

Ti-Ta
No doubt, Franklin will be the biggest underdog. Riverdale is unstopable. Has there ever been a better high school football team in Tennessee? 825455036 The 2000-20001 Red Bank team with Gerald Riggs would beat them, toooo much defense and no way to stop Riggggggggsssss!!!
