Warning: Don't take Cosby for granted

Cosby is always a force in East Tennessee. Based on the past two impressive wins, this year is no different. Cosby beat two good region teams. They beat Harriman by 28 points and beat Oneida at Oneida by 10. Oneida is picked to win their district and was a favorite for the region crown as well. All I have heard is how Cosby will be lost without Black and Hall. They were two great players no doubt, but Cosby has moved on like they always do. We are a force and i hope people continue to overlook us and we will continue to prove them wrong.

Who has ever taken Cosby for granted? I'd say most people pick them as the top team in District 3A and Region 2A.

Cosby is very good. We(Oneida) held Blakely to 13 or 14 and they had players step up. 21 and 24 for them can play. 24 is a very impressive player and may be a better shooter than Black was for them last year making 6 threes in the first quarter against Harriman.

the more folks like Dexter step up, the more opponents will be unable to double/triple Blakely.

Cosby was an excellent ball club, and they have been in the gym shooting because they looked to be in mid-season form at Oneida's Tournament. They were very effective both inside and out. Blakely is such a fundamentally sound player and he has such a good variety of post moves. The Eagle's Coach has a considerably easier job when #11 is in the game for him. I'm not so sure that #24 can maintain such a torrid pace through the entire season. He played great in the Oneida Tournament, but the Indians didn't allow him to come free as easily as Harriman did, and he had to work for his points. Teams will have to know where he is because he certainly proved he can light it up in a hurry. The Indians are making progress, I wouldn't be surprised to see them fare better later in the season against Cosby. thumb Kaz thumb

Them Tigers and Eagles don't get along very well and next year, they'll be in the same dictrict again.

dont count on it . cosby is smoking . losing black and hall didnt slow them down one bit. cosby will be there at the end like they always have been.

You guys act like the only good teams in the region is oneida and cosby. And who ever said that oneida was picked to win that district? Cosby has a good ball team and so does oneida, but be carefull about overlooking other teams.
