District 2AA Reports and Standings

The Rebels got it done at the Gap tonight. It was ugly, but effective. Things are definately getting tight at the top. The Rebels being able to get the win with Sauceman on the bench due to fouls was huge for the team. The bench is really playing well right now!

Make that four in a row at Sneedville for the Pioneers. It was an ugly win, but a win.

DeWyse was unbelievable!!! He had 46 and sat out the last 3:30. PF was up 27 when the starters were pulled. Great game.

12 threes would be a new district record...the old record was 11 by Danny Parker from Claiborne County in 1989 or 1990 one or the other...he had 44 that night as I recall.

 

Congrats to Allen...he's pretty dang good.

Pigeon Forge will be at west Greene Tuesday and then South Greene come to Pigeon Forge Friday to wrap up our district play.

Claiborne won by 10 77-67.

Who is gonna win this district,with the games left I predict South Green or Rutledge.

I was there and congratulations! I was pulling for the Bucs though and I thought they were on the wrong end of some bad calls which made the difference in the game.

I believe the top 3 teams in District 1 are all realy strong. Chuckey plays one of them tonight (@Unicoi Co.). That could give us some good info on how our District will match up.

Gloryseeker, To be honest with you i don't think i can make a good prediction, both teams have the ability to win, naturally i would have to go with the panthers but with the way they've played here recently i'll just have to see the game as it happens, I'm still going to go with the panthers hopefully they can come out with the win.What do you think will happen?

Does anyone know the order of the tie breaker for the district.  I know Rutledge is #1 but I think CG is #7 and I think WG is #9.  not sure on these though.  Can anyone find out?

Pigeon Forge has #2. I don't know about the rest though. Union Co. girls coach is the district coordinator she should have this info.
