I deleted my previous post. I should have known it would do nothing but create more of a "stir". I have my proof about Shelbyville and that's all I need. :(

Well, I'm with you 85warrior. I know what happened when the star scored 50 in a game to set the record. Sure, the parents and the girl might have wanted to hang half a hundred on someone, but the coach is the one that can control that. Compassion for high school girls and the teaching of sportsmanship and ethical behavior should have taken precedence and should be extended to opposing teams as well as the one you're coaching. It didn't.

She was sat down with 12 seconds to go in the game so the 2nd and 3rd string could get some good quality playing time. :(

u want it, here it goes blowtime. i agree that coach insell is a great coach. but more importantly he is smart. and i don't mean necessarily basketball smart, but building a empire smart. sure, they run the score up on people when they can. who cares.unless u are the team getting hammered. u can call recruiting or whatever u want but here goes.u get these girls in for aau every year. then u spot exceptional players. then coach insell, blotime, flemtone and others try to get them to come to play for shelbyville.they get there parents jobs and then they start prepping them for high school. this is how these imaginary players just pop up out of nowhere. i know this for a fact cause i know 2 girls they tried to do this to. now is this illegal, don't know , must not be cause they have got away with this for over a decade. this is why they have no student fans, only geriatrics. i just know that i would rather have my hometown girls. win or lose.

Jeff8110, just because i don't like a team means I'm jealous of that team?? Anyway, I'd rather my team win honestly than the way they do- and they've gotten beat a few times already this yr. so I'm definately not "jealous" of them now!! I'm sure you won't reply because you don't want to "lower yourself to my level" because I'm so "jealous"!!! There is more in life than basketball so I definately AM NOT jealous at all of the team or people of Shelbyville!!!

    • I believe that was last year. I was interested in the Jones vs Baker comment, so I went back and looked at GC. I am not a fan of either nor am I a baseball guru. This looks like to me the duel was not close and if the errors would not have been made Eagleville would have won. I assume you are a little biased. I do think your mph for Jeffcoat and Baker must be from last year.  Baker-85 pitches 67 strikes. 5.2 innings, 5H, 1BB, 0ER and 7K's. 3 errors  Jones- 78 pitches 37 strikes. 4 innings, 2H, 5BB, 0ER and 1K. 1 error   Adams and the UH kid are really good as well. What about South Pitt and Oakdale? I heard they have some good ones.
    • I hate this for all the kids in the program and fans alike. I can't recall of anything like this before in my lifetime but I'm sure it isn't a first. After criminal investigations are complete and the TSSAA looks into this the program it will be facing Nuclear Winter for some time to come. It's always the innocent left behind that end up paying the price for something someone else has done. I'm sure the transfer portal will be very active in Clinton over the summer months. How could you find a good coach worth his salt that would take on a situation like this not knowing what will happen.
    • I’ve seen Jeffcoat in person twice and he was 84-87 both times and the one time I saw Baker he was low 80’s, he actually got out dueled by Jones from ER in that outing.
    • Pirate fans, thread is up on the baseball message board.
