My prediction is that someone whose team is at the tournament will win first place. My other prediciton is that the Irishdad will be happy to be on his home turf...

Does anyone know what wgt class Borneman of Houston is going to wrestle? I think a Knox from Farragut vs. Borneman would be a great match!

Is anyone else looking at some good dream matches?

By the way Collins Hill was charging $10 per family at their event! Could the Irish back off the gate price or give a family plan at the gate? If they do that, I can afford one of those "t-shirts for sale "that they seem to announce every 10 min. :P Also, I will be able to buy more in the concession, invite family and friends etc.

But seriously, the Father Ryan Tourney charged more at the gate than any other Tournament last year.

The Pope doesn't need the extra change! JOKING!

Knox won the Collins Hill Duals last week at 171lbs. I think he will be at the same weight! Too bad Luke ate all that ham and stuff.

Someone told me at Collins Hill that he was trying to get down to 152lbs. That's along way from 189. I know Gessler dosn't want him back at 152lbs.

I heard that he really looked good at the Bradley Tourney. He always does.

He and Justin would be a great match.

    • I have no idea who your team is, but Memphis and other Shelby Co. schools have hardly made a dent, if you’re talking Game 15 appearances. Outside of a couple by Whitehaven, I can’t recall the last team in a final.
    • Robbed you guy at a chance of 3 state championships. You never kne, sond best team in the west my have beat you also, but you sure deserved the chance to play um.
    • Eagleville also loses Brown the catcher, Lamb CF, Mclemore RF (Heck of an athlete) and Drew the 1st baseman. They will be young.
    • Good thing we aren’t in Florida then huh? It would benefit a ton of the smaller schools  that don’t have the pools of kids to choose from! They should start by policing Shelby County like they do the rest of the state! Something has to change though and TSSAA knows that!
    • Correct, you can whimsically be fired in coaching. A coach that has tenure can stay on as a teacher if released from coaching. If you don’t have tenure as a teacher, you can fired without cause. Your last year as a teacher before tenure is earned you can be fired, but must be given cause. A tenured teacher can be fired, but it is a long hard process requiring the 3 D’s…. documentation, documentation and documentation. I have released 3 tenured teachers, 2 with PHD’s. However, teacher contracts had and still have clauses that state you can be fired for a variety reasons re: being arrested, public drunkenness, inappropriate relationships ect.
