Rachel went to the doctor today and has torn her ACL, Meniscuis (Not sure how to spell it), and other cartilage. She is having surgery in two weeks!! She will possibly recover completely by July. Her college Volleyball starts the first week in August. Please keep her and her family in her prayers. It's going to be a tough road ahead. -thanks-

Good luck Rachel. They can reconstruct the ACL with the patella tendon and with dedicated rehab you can come all the way back! Our Lady Cyclones had a player, Marti Bush, who tore her ACL in the Greene County tournament in late december. She had her surgery January 13 and started rehab the next day, and is back in school. She hopes to shed her crutches in about a week. Just remember to take it one day at a time. Hope all goes well.

When someone says athlete, a picture of you comes to my mind. You are and have been a inspriation to me, Mandy and most importantly, Murphee. Adversity has never stopped you before and it will not stop you now. We needed your leadership at Lawrence County (both on and off the court) and we still do. So LEAD ON GIRL . College is gonna be a blast and I bet they are in need of leaders there too.
