It was a joke. Said to get the reactions it got. However, as far as everyone else is concerned, Beech and Hendersonville are more or less the same place.

Hendersonville a dump city??? ok...wow, thats all you can say after we beat you, even though you were playing the worst form of "basketball". Oh yeah beat you TWICE. And secondly Beech isnt in hendersonville, so next time you dog the city where the school's at make sure you know where the school is.

If not Hendersonville, then where? I would assume that if you were to ask the Beech faithfull from what community they hail, most of them would answer Hendersonville. Not many would anwer Shackle Island, if for no other reason than to forestall the inevitable follow-up question. This would be for the very same reason that the folks at the new high school on the other side of Blue Grass Country Club would fail to answer that they are from Number One Tennessee
