From 10-AAA, Rossview, Dickson Co, Henry Co, and Clarksville will be the favorites..I heard Hunters Lane will be tough again.

 

Wes Fink-Clarksville H.S. multi athlete will be tough on the diamond just like he was on the football field. He has already signed to play baseball at Uni of Memphis.

There won't be any dominate teams in Middle Tennessee without dominate pitching staffs. A few middle TN teams have maybe one good pitcher but not a complete staff.

 

Who has the dominate staff? Beech? come on. Rutherford county has one good pitcher in the county. Mikie.

Davidson county has 1 maybe 2. Manchester (Coffee County) has the lefty. The Private schools have fair staffs, they'll dominate around here and in there district, but outside the area they face reality.

 

The kids that "dominate" teams with an 83 mph fastball in there own districts, will most likely not dominate outside there area. The good teams hit 83 mph fastball for BP.

Right now there aren't many great staff's on paper. But there will be one or two that develop thru the year. Mt. Juliet is not bad, Clarksville lacks pitching but has at least 6 D 1 signee's on their roster. It will be interesting to see how far they go this year. And if you can get thru the district tournament, 1 guy can get you there!

Beech's team has been playing together since they were very young. The kids you see playing on the basketball team at the moment (oh yeah, ranked in the top 5 in the midstate - who da thunk it?) are also the baseball players. They have won many state championships in the dixie programs through the years and have been to several world series. They will be a dominating force to contend with this year. They are deep in the pitching roster and play great together with the chemistry needed to win a state championship. Who's not to say any team can't fall apart at any given time, but this bunch will be a team to watch now and for several years to come.

Yeah – All the State Championships they win playing in the Dixie Youth Baseball program in Goodletsville, but when they get to Beech they can’t figure how to get out of the dugout. They continue to get it handed to them every year by Hendersonville. Same song and dance from the Bucs in 05.

When you play topsy-turvy with a coaching staff each year, you never know who you're gonna get to help coach. I don't believe there's been a year here in the past few years when you've had the same assistant coach on staff two years in a row. However, that being said, Beech has got one heck of a coaching staff this year. br2tzc, I believe you'll be sadly mistaken about Beech this year. Dixie play or not, this bunch have been state champions more than once. Talents in place - but it has to be guided.

Beech has been playing for a long time, and you can say they cant get out of the dugout all you want, last years team was decent. The guys they got coming out this year are fantastic. Expect big years from Seth McAdams and Eric Sampson.

They should be just as good if not better than last season. They lose their #1 starter, but well have more power in the lineup

Beech has got the potential to be pretty good this year. But....they havent started playing yet so you cant say they are going to do anything. As far as the coaching staff goes they have one of the best coaches in middle TN in Coach Hayes. I really dont think the assitant coaches have that big of an effect on a team. Yeah some can, but in most cases the head coach is who the players are going to look to, to lead the team in the right direction. Beech has to prove they are good enough to get through one of the toughest districts in the state before they can talk about going to state. Last year around this time people from Lavergne and Wilson Central were on here hyping they're teams to be the best in 9AAA. Oh yea what happened? White House came out of no where and took it to everyone. Now no one on here can sit here and say that this time last year they thought White House would go 12-2 in the district and host the 9AAA tourney. All I'm saying is Beech better not be gettting too cocky and choke when it comes time to play. Ive seen it happen before and wouldnt be suprised at all to see it happen with Beech this year. They've got to prove the can score runs and play defense. Something they couldnt do at all last year.
