ReadytoRumble
HE DID QUIT, THE TEAM VOTED TO LET HIM COME BACK. I'm glad it all worked out of Phillip. Also glad my source was reliable. Happy to see the Bulldogs get the season off on the right foot last night. Closer game than I had expected.
vetplayr
earn respect.... you are crazy if you think that they havent earned it already. the name farragut is one of the reasons people fold and do not compete if they get down early. You can credit "respect" to most of farragut's run rules the last few years and other teams will confess to possibly folding early... i do agree that they must perform to get even more respect, but respect has been there for the last 6 years or more 825596100 3/18/05; South Doyle - 4, Collierville - 3 Collierville - 7, FHS - 4 Someone needs to tell Collierville about respecting those FHS Ads. A good hitting team that Collierville, but respect still has to be earned. That FHS pitching corp is still developing, and more work is still to come. A chink in the armor, but it's early. Probably a motivational loss that I'm sure they will rebound from.
hmslb32
Farragut will be O.K. this year. The young guys that pitch early will have experience under their belt in the later part of the season, they'll make it just fine. Other district teams will be able to compete this year. hmslb32
Any scores from around the district? Heritage played Central tonight and came out on top 11-5. Matt Johnson pitched a good ball game for Heritage, with alot of offensive support, Tyler Thomas was 4-4 tonight.
knoxnavigator
Seymour smoked Maryville in Seymour tonight, 11-1. Seymour hit 4 bombs. Maryville didn't look very good.
guru5
Karns one up-ed Sevier Co. with a 2 run homer in the top of the 7th and held on for a 5-4 victory.

hmslb32
Seems like Sevier County's record could be flip flopped if they could've caught a few breaks here and there. I don't think anyone in the district should overlook them this year.
LeftSideInfielder27
How well did Sevier County play?
guru5
How well did Sevier County play? 825630039 They played well enough to win. They lacked some timely hitting and made 1 bad pitch in the top of the 7th.
impactbball
I don't think I would classify 2 hits against a #4 pitcher well enough to win...... but sevier county made the plays when they needed to, every hit karns had was a seed just about but sevier county made the plays..... it'sallovernow
kinda hard to hit balls in the dirt and balls coming at your head. sc didn't have to hit it hard just as long as it went right to somebody they could get on Edited March 27, 2005 by it'sallovernow
