shut up and play
It looks like the team with the deepest pitching rotation will probably take home the 10-AA title this year. Everyone's number one looks good but what about everyone's number two and three for the weeks that you have four games?
statebound15
Sycamore's #2 and #3 pitchers are good the only thing that gets them is when the defense doesnt play smart for an inning and the other team gets about 3 to 4 runs, and that means they have to play catch up the whole game. Every game that they have lost is not because the other team is better its because of the defense let down an inning. And all of the games they have one the defense played well every inning. You also cant forget though that 2 of the 3 games they have lost they scored only 1 run so not scoring any runs also doesnt help the pitcher or defense but the bats will come around. shyatt248
Waverly returned the favor by jumping all over MC at their place (the monday rainout played on wednesday) Final score was 7-3 and Waverly finally played errorless ball. the tuesday game at waverly was a real squeeker, MC was aided by some tiger mental errors and a questionable call (missing home plate by a ninth grade courtesy runner.) Waverly lost yesterday to Bruceton in the same old way, errors on routine plays, they went ahead in the top of the 8th and with a runner on first and two outs, the pitcher (more on him later) induced a weak infield ground ball, the 3rd sacker promptly fielded then proceeded to throw wildly to first from about 30 feet. More errors followed and Bruceton walked away with a 9-8, eight innging win. Number 22, just recovering from mono and making his initial relief appearance was outstanding for the tigers on the mound. Find out more about him!
