Well if thats the case Grace is not lookin to have a good chance either Unaka beat them this year at Chatt. Also Unaka put there bench in with between 4 to 5 minutes left in the game against temple and temples starters were still in. Thats not an excuse for the loss but that helped for the bigger win. But as of now I see Temple as the team to beat.

No one gave Unaka a chance last year either

West Tenn person here. Just wondering who off last years team is back this year.

Iwatched Unaka play in the Tourney last year and really enjoyed watching them play. I did not think they were the most talented team in there but, played the hardest.

Great underdog story last year, but you will be the team to beat if you get there this year being defending state champs.

Possible west tenn oppenents include, Middleton, or Trenton which have very talented teams. Temple with Skogan I here is good again as well. Ought to be intersting, good luck to all.

Not to turn this away from the excitement of the Unaka fans, but hey SPORTS, you a Memphis Tiger fan? Do you think we have a chance in the tourney this week?

I thought Middleton had the best single A team that I saw all of last year, but my Halls Tigers miraculously put them out in substate. The teams from Hardeman County will be tough outs.

    • Yes this process is moving slower than I would have expected
    • also was told coady auston applied, he served as defensive coordinator for greenfield under don pitt several years ago before going to Obion county
    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
