Brentwood Academy vs. Briarcrest

Brentwood Academy and Briarcrest will square off tommorow @ David Lipscomb at I believe 2:30 ( correct me if i'm wrong on the time ). This game will feature 2/3 Mr. Basketball Finalists in Brandan Wright of BA and Michael Oher from Briarcrest. BA is looking for their third consecutive title while Briarcrest hopes to break their long in-state winning streak and take the title to Memphis. Any thoughts or predictions? Good luck BA!!!

I have had the opportunity to see Briarcrest play both

BGA and Ryan. I would front Oher with Turner and let

Brandan roam the lane. If you keep Oher from catching

the ball deep in the post, he will not score 10 points.

The guards can hit the 3 if given an open look. The other

big player for Briarcrest (55) is not a good shooter but can

take the ball to the basket if given the chance.

 

I think BA's relentless press will create a lot of turnovers.

If Josh Bone is on target and Brandan/Barry stay out of

foul trouble guarding Oher, then BA should see the 3 peat.

Haven't seen BCS play, so I don't know for sure, but I'd really like to see BA play their best in the finals.

Judging from what I have seen, if BA doesnt play good and BCS plays better, BCS can win. But that wont happen . BA by 10.

Final score 80-54 BA wins. Brandan had 30. Briarcrest tried to run with BA...big mistake.

3 in a row!!!!! Congrats BA- you made it look way too easy. Congrats most of all on the state title but also on the amazing year where nobody in the state beat you and you stood toe-to-toe with some of the top players and teams in the nation. A lot of people like to say you're not that good because you play in DII but I wouldn't bet against you guys vs. anybody in the state, I'm really proud. Great game, great fan support, great season. 4 peat fellas???????

It was looking way to easy with five and half minutes left vs Harding.... oh wait that was when you were only up by 4 and the refs were like oh crap, our BA paycheck wont be much if they lose, so you can fill in the rest of the game... 33 to 12.... Free Throws... Harding did the best they could with it tho, hitting all 12... That should have been the final from what thsi sounds like, didn't see the championship, but heard it was not in question...

LOL. I'm not whining. BA is better than Giles County. But Raleigh-Egypt, Mitchell, Bolivar, Ridgeway, North Side, maybe even Temple ALL would blow Briarcrest off the map, you have to admit.
