...The TYNER "Lady Rams" beat Tellico Plains in the Region 3-AA Semi-Finals by a score of 75-58...after only two(2) years from moving up to AA, the "Lady Rams" are two-time Defending Champs of District 6AA and this year were runner-up to Walker Valley in Region 3-AA...unfortunately we will not be able to defend our District 6AA title, however, because of the TSSAA reclassification the "Lady Rams" will be the favorite to win District 5-AA in 2005-2006... we return three(3) starters and three(3) reserves that saw significant playing time...two(2) of the reserves are rising soph's and all of the starters will be seniors...this should justify the "Lady Rams" as being a Top Ten Team next year!!

Tyner will pad their win total by playing the weak girls teams over here in the Chattanooga area...Then lose in the sub-state again...If Tyner had to play in District 7AA or District 6AA or District 13AA they would be middle of the pack,at best....

...Just goes to show you...the 'ole saying about "opinions" is still alive( they are just like you-know-what>>everybody has one!!!...The "Lady Rams" play the schedule that is presented...the time will come when we will win a sub-state and it will be sooner than you(or anyone else for that matter) think...We have so many teams to play that our schedule will no allow many out-of- district games...anyway we will play the so-called favored districts when the time comes...until that time comes, all of your "if's" are nothing more than "water-cooler conversation for those who wish to believe that the past lives in the future!!!

Dyersburg loses six seniors including LaCelia Newman, Tara Butler, Mary Beth Ozment, LaTroya Mitchell, Natalie Pike, and Kayla Bartlett. Shaunda Strayhorn and Kayla Holloway will be returning next year. Also coming back in 05-06 are many other solid underclassmen that did not get much playing time this season, but will be very impressive. Good Luck Lady Trojans!

Jackson North Side moved and hardly anyone knows. Either that or no one believes that North Side will last in AA. If anyone can help it would be much appreciated.

Well it will not be Obion Co. they lost their big time post presents inside and doubt there will be anyone to fill her shoes. They also lost A LOT of leadership with the Sr. class that graduated. To many holes to many seniors lost. Suiter will have his work cut out for him. I also see there being a big time Sophmore slump for him and his sophmores. Maybe along time before you get back hope you enjoyed it.

 

Team to beat will be Gibson Co. post are gonna develope, learn to catch the ball, and with Dudley they will be in every game they just need a point to step up.

 

Westview = Wizard gonna have to work some magic.

 

Dyersburg good core but are the other players gonna come along.

 

Chester CO. why not return stud and didn't lose that much however role players sometimes are what make a team. Their is only one ball and you gotta know your role.

 

 

How about Haywood got a great player in Singleton and have nearly everone comeing back. Super atheletic and quick, fun to watch To me they should be one of the top 5 teams next year in the region if not STATE!! Great guard play and if they develope skill wise!!!! WOW beaffraid be very affraid!!!!
