District 14A-Have The All District Team and MVP been picked yet

I've noticed a lot of districts have already named their all district teams.Saw that Dyer Co had a couple on their all district team as well as Henry Co with about 6 in theirs.Has District 14A coaches picked their selections yet

Wilkes deserved it. Union City offense of line should have won MVP before any of their backs. Union City team is going to get the main award a state title.

Wilkes is a very good back and if he was running behind UC line this year, he would have the same amount of yards as Henry because he would not be in the game in the second half. As far as map voting and other district awards, seems there was a lot of resentment towards coach Bowling and several of the coaches took it out on his players by not voting for them. carolina.Just talking trash aimed at Atlas and his remarks snd him wanting me to start my own thread about Wilkes so I did.Wouldnt think the coaches would penalize a kid or vote against him because of a coach.But if Wilkes was on Uc, s team, maybe he would not had as many yards.But also if Henry was on LC, s team would he have even been a Mr.Football candidate.UC had a surperior line.He's mostly up the middle and got his yardage against Lc, South Fulton.Basically the same teams but Wilkes had to go against UC.Wonder how Henrybwould have done playing for LC against UC who is strong on defense and maybe not getting past the line of scrimmage.I dontbthink very good or as good as Wilkes did

that is the truth,  the dodgers of lake county, south fulton, greenfield and 1 other team (Humboldt ?) decided not to vote for ANY UC player at ANY position for all districts.  The LC coach was the ring leader of coup de ta.  Afterwards, they decided they did  not want to play UC anymore and wanted to form their own 3 or 4 team district within the district 14a.  I guess that district would be the "dodger" district or the "yellow" district.  Anyway, the voting was tainted.  Wilkes is a talented running back, no doubt.  But come on, quit being a sour puss about his lack of recognition.

I heard a rumor that the UC staff made all this up. So rumors are just that. Get over yourself. Nobody is scared to play the great lol UC. You have a good team now. UC will fall back to earth. whine whine whine.   The coaches fuss, the fans fuss.  Easy to blame others.  Woe be unto me.  I wish, if only, why couldn't, trade players, trade teams, trade schools.  I understand, just frustration rising to the top.  Someday, the good time will return, until then, we'll let everybody else know how much we're disadvantaged.  blah blah blah.  The world may not revolve around UC, but your whining does. From a sour puss, standpoint, everything is pretty sweet from my view.

Sure they went to two title games but lost. UC was a middle of the road program in 2-A. So the UC admin choices to play down to win. Alcoa is 2-A and plays up and others do also. Toot your horn all you want but if any school is yellow it is Union City. You started this mess with your I am better than you attitude. Those are the facts. Cannot be disputed. Your statements are built on rumor. Here is a rumor for you. UC remains 1-A because the UC admin controls their enrollment numbers. Do I believe that no but that is how easy it is to start a rumor. Quit running down true 1-A programs and enjoy UC success in 1-A lord knows UC didn't have much in 2-A. I know UC posters will come on here and spew their slanted views but that is ok because the truth hurts.

Why bash us? I was part of those two AA state finalist teams and we work our butts off to get where we were then and for these kids who are there now. Its about work ethic and we have had great coaches to come through here to teach that and look where we are. We are human just like you, its not about size of school. There is 11 players at a time on the field for each team. Get a coach to teach work ethic like a Randy Barnes or Darren Bowling; get your butts in the weight room and on the practice field and work. People aren't born with talent it takes time and practice. So instead of bashing us how bout yall start working harder and you can be where we are.
