You must be refering to Union City when you mention dodgers. Westview, Milan for Lake Co and So. Fulton. Now who is doing the dodging? lol Heck, for what it is worth UC back out of playing Obion Central. Edited December 2, 2014 by lakecounty1968

Trading district for nondistrict teams. When you have 8 teams in your district and you are required to play all of them (to truly determine district champs) some other teams have to come off. Our nondistrict teams played this year were Huntington (2a), Mckenzie (2a) and Dresden (1a) (all made playoffs). Oc not on schedule for political reasons ( like dyersburg not playing dyer county).

It seems like OC has quit giving bonuses to coaches who recruit players from nearby schools so maybe we'll also be playing them again before long.

It would be great to see U C vs. O C once again but, who gains other than a big gate.  U C a small, dominate team who can beat all Class A schools, most all Class AA schools, many Class AAA schools and some Class AAAA schools which Obion falls under.  It would really not be to Obion's advantage to play U C but at the same time, U C playing O C , U C would win 90% of the time.  Basketball the same way.  Dresden / Westview didn't play for years and now started back.  Dyer Co. / Dyersburg does play now and use to.  So really, the way the schedules are now, U C for one has no room to play O C an O C needs to schedule a team in the off game where they think they may win, not get hammered every time.  O C though is now finally on right track with new coach coming in and he will change things.

Shouldn't be close.  He has dominated the district the past 2 seasons.  I bet his stats over the past 2 seasons against the district has been unreal. And UC didn't lose a district game, nobody even played past 2 1/2 quarters with them.  Not sure how there can by an argument. Cant say well he has played behind this oline, that oline.  I've seen games where the oline didn't block so well but Henry still took over.
