SEC1rules
I'm still hanging around, Yanker. The prophet and Team Mom haven't testified in a long, long time. Your appearance reminds that real football isn't too far away. Speaking of, the Pats scrimmage Lexington tonight at 5:30 in Patriot Stadium. In workouts this first two weeks the offense has been pretty impressive, the defense not so much. We have a very large group of returning starters but,as usual, a large group are involved with spring sports and won't be available tonight. Should be a good opportunity for the nice group of sophs to be. GO BIG RED Scrimmage updates?
BigRedRealist
Scrimmage updates? Since the scrimmage was 5 days ago, and there has been no discussing, does that mean HC was not very impressive?
olddevil
Since the scrimmage was 5 days ago, and there has been no discussing, does that mean HC was not very impressive? I kept waiting for someone else to opine but will offer my ideas for whatever they're worth. It was the coldest night for Patriot football in a long time and we started out pretty slowly. Lexington,on the other hand. blasted off and it looked they would run us off the field. They scored on their second possession (the first ended with a Pat interception) We held them on their next try after they drove into the red zone but they never threatened again after we made a few adjustments.. Our offense couldn't get untracked at first against their defense featuring multiple stunts with some impressive athletic defenders (their #33 was very impressive). We finally got the offense rolling and finished ahead in the varsity portion 3 to 1. PAT's were successful on 2 of 3 tries.LHS went for 2 and failed. The JV's tied 1to1 . in an unofficiated non down and distance scrimmage but it took the Tigers 8 or 9 plays inside the ten to get it in. Remember the scrimmage in Milan Friday night(Time??) There will be a $6 charge to benefit their Lions Club vision program. Hope to have a big Big Red crowd there. Could be pretty chilly. Oldschoolwildcat1970
With Cenntennial and Brentwood gone, HC should walk through that region. There are NO teams in Clarksville that will pose a threat IMO.

There are NO teams in Clarksville that will pose a threat IMO. That's exactly what I think. The non region games is what intrigues me the most. Should be a fun year for HC
olddevil
Good show in Milan tonight. The Pats looked much better with the offense clicking pretty well in the varsity segments scoring 34 and the defense grudgingly giving up only 10.McCutchen and Foster looked near mid season form and the passing was much better by Gardner and Stewart. In the JV portion the defense held Milan scoreless and the offense was driving for a score when Milan made a pick six as the #### expired: that play was good for about 90 yds.
