CoachG- To be fair to Bump, I believe you were the person who told us a week ago to not count out Riverdale. I would say he def took your advice. :)

HA!!!.  My point was that Blackman and Riverdale were to be considered.  If Riverdale was at full strength, they had a legitimate shot.  My thought process was that Blackman and Riverdale should have been the listed favorites to start.

I know. Obviously Bump should have listed Blackman. I honestly believe it will be Blackman first and you guys 2nd coming out of REG.5. I understand you were giving Riverdale some props. I was at your Red Hawk Rampage for a while and was impressed with your team. They are a well coached group of wrestlers. You are doing a great job. Keep up the good work CoachG

I didnt forget about Blackman. And i wasn't taking coach G's advice just agreeing. Riverdale has looked very good at full strength and that was one of my dark horse picks. As far as Coach G's boys go i still think they win the region and are 100% the favorites when at full strength. Not Blackman or Riverdale. With the right draw they could be top 10 or 12 at duals

    • TSSAA restrictions for hiring non-faculty coaches have been removed for over a year at this point. In the past a non-faculty person had to be "grandfathered" by being an assistant coach for five years, being fingerprinted, and having a background check run per TSSAA rules... since those were rescinded, the board of directors for the school district are responsible for any/all restrictions on hiring non-faculty personnel. I guess what I'm saying to you is that if you really wanted what you posted, it's already possible as long as your local BOE will allow for it.
    • stop it, rlh. you’re gonna get me all misty eyed and sentimental.    i see seven fairly regularly. ….but slim shady, that’s like spotting bigfoot on main street. you just hope he doesn’t spot you.
    • Are you trying to say you didn't find Seven and ShadySlim going at it?
