Tssaa officials shafts upper east tn in playoffs

Reg. 3 officials seem to call for knox teams.  Upper East tn teams are losing because of late game changing calls or no calls that decide the game.  Why not have a mix of region 1 and region 2 refs and a top guy watching them.  S H  game,  hv game, jc game all had games decoded by officials

UET teams get beat in the playoffs because they do no take football seriously compared to the teams in the Knoxville area and beyond.

Sour grapes.  With a very few exceptions UET football just hasn't been very competitive.

Agree.Hampton has been pretty good up to this year.But mostly its a hit and miss.Football is very weak in that area as a whole.HV had a decent team but did as good as they could,refs werent the blame.

Boone (5A)
Cherokee (5A)
Crockett (5A)
DB (6A)
Morristown East (5A)
Morristown West (6A)
Science Hill (6A)
Tennessee High (5A)
Volunteer (5A)

Yes, Hampton, Greeneville, Cloudland, Elizabethton are exceptions, but none of them are 5A/6A.

Well there is always the option of scheduling some teams OUTSIDE the Region for your non region games to see just how good you are.  Come on down to Rutherford County and well see how you fare.  For that matter try teams like Oak Ridge.  They are close and WILL test you.
