Are you kidding me? I was at the state title game. I saw Greenback play live 3 Times. Listen I never said your boy Edwards wasn’t a good player. I saw him and Wingo both last season vs SP. I also know your QB is an extremely good player. Gilbert was the best RB Greenback had last season. Edwards was a nice compliment to him. The fact remains the Wingo kid at Whitwell is a very good RB and was the best RB on the field last night. That is a 100% fact. If you think about my comment you will agree with me. Eagles on offense first. Handoff to Kaylor gets about 4 yards. Pitch to Smith for a first down. Kaylor with a couple big runs up the gut. Pitch to Langley nets another 1st. Langley with another big run. Pemberton with a beautiful keeper for another first down. Langley carries for a 9 yard gain. Goodwin carries for the first. Clinton defense stops Smith for a one yard carry. Smith on the counter takes it down to the 5 for a 1st and goal. Pemberton carries for a couple. Penalty on the play on the Eagles backs it up. Pemerbton with the beautiful toss to Smith for the touchdown. Extra point is no good. 6-0 Rhea.

I don't think this scrimmage will be on Rhea Review. My buddy that works with Elmer hasn't said anything about it yet, but I think they are still trying to get their equipment together. My guess is they should be ready to stream by the jamboree.

Hasn't UTC been down the road of hiring relevant coaches with name recognition? Brands 3 yrs. Seay 1 yr. Bono 3 yrs. Of the all americans in that time, Jon Soiredas may be the only recruit that wouldn't have otherwise gone to UTC. I am not discounting being able to recruit the best possible kids, but at UTC the most important thing would be to get the best kids out of the mid-south area and then to develop them. Reeve could most certainly do these things.

If all these folks stick, with what is already at Cumberland.... watch out. Going to be a great season.
