  2. Curiosity Stream is an excellent value and I highly recommend the Muck City documentary about the Pahokee v Glades Central "Muck Bowl" rivalry. We're going to try and get over there this year to see that and eat at Dixie Fried Chicken.

  3. Good luck to Oak Ridge this year. I was in Oak Ridge yesterday. Me and my wife went to Melton Hill park to ride a paddling pontoon boat. Then we went to Chicago's Own. I loved that place. Italian Beef sandwich with mozzarella cheese. Yummy.

  4. It's good competition and you want to see that kind of speed in the regular season before you see it in the play-offs! No matter what happens in that game Oak Ridge will be a better team come play-off time to make another run in 5a.

  5. Have to give a shout to a TN wrestler that has been on an absolute tear the last two weeks. Hunter is 26-0 coming from Spartan, Southeast regionals, and now just beat the number 10 in the Flo rankings (Jack Gioffre out of CA) at NHSCA duals. Hunter is currently ranked 13th on Flo but should now go up. If Team Shutt wins the semis and Team Kong wins the other side (over the minions) he will get the number 6 on Flo, Jordan Titus in the finals.

  6. Coaches definitely getting them prepared. Look at this! The Patriots’ first preseason scrimmage will come July 30 for freshmen, junior varsity and varsity teams at Christian Brothers High School in Memphis. On Aug. 6, Mongomery Bell Academy will come to Patriot Stadium for the same setup. The Patriots will again host a jamboree on Aug. 13 and will be working with Haywood County for two quarters. Counce said working with strong programs in a controlled environment in the preseason will help the Patriots get prepared to open the season against Class 6A opponents Summit and Beech.

  7. 3 NHSCA champs in the last 2 weeks have been taken out by the upcoming Junior. The boy has been a workhorse. You can see he has taken a shining to Nashon Garrett and the way they train. Congratulations to Hunter and his support system.

  8. A NEW statue is coming to Jack Armstrong Stadium / Blankenship Field. No, not the Joe Gaddis one we discussed last season. This will be for Jackie Pope. I still want a statue for Wiley the Wildcat. She is the only one to have attended every Wildcat sporting and academic event ever held. That certainly calls for at least a spot in the Oak Ridge Sports Hall of Fame. RWR Roll Wiley Roll!

  10. Thanks Coach! That’s insane, $10,000! Yeah I’ll stick with the “add to Home Screen” then move around from there

  11. Hunter beat the number six in the nation Jordan Titus so 27-0 in the last two weeks. Congrats to Hunter. Hunter tied at the end of the third period 7-7 and hit a double in SV to secure the win.
