  3. I think they are just forced to play players out of position to put most of their talent on the court at the same time. They will eventually develop the 1 and 2 positions then you better watch out. They will get better as the year goes on.

  4. Livingston is the one team that could beat them.

  5. Coach G really has her girls firing on all cylinders right now. This team is athletic, talented and hungry. This team has depth and great coaching, they could easily make a deep run into state this year. I’ve watched a lot of these kids through the local AAU programs and they have continued to grow every time I have watched them play. Exciting things happening in the UC!

  7. They are super young, 6 freshman from 106-145. They are competing and winning most matches. They will only get better.

  8. Just don't see it. He can't win it at Boyd. Not as long as Lausanne, CPA and Lipscomb are AA.

  9. "IF" all of the out of state teams show up with their studs this tournament will be tougher than a combined division state tournament in Tennessee. Other than when Mater Dei attended in the mid 90's I am not sure that the Johnny Drennan 85 Memorial has ever had this deep of a field. I would venture to guess that there will be state place finishers that do not place in this tournament.

  11. The New Word of the Day at William Blount is "Seldom". The meeting today with the boosters club and Shad has been cancelled due to snow giving him a few more days to come up with a #### and bull story to Seldom on.

  12. Solid thought process, but not a guarantee either. Our program went through the same situation...very successful coach left and a coordinator was hired, thinking things would continue "as is". In two seasons the roster went from 65-70 kids to low 20's, quarterfinal game to 2 wins, and fan support dwindled. He even left us holding the bag for $30,000.00 for new (ugly) uniforms when the "old" ones were in great condition because he "wanted to take the former coach's stamp off the program". Be careful the direction you go.
