I can understand the hesitancy, but the students picked one of the best illustrations of the absurdities of Jim Crow laws in this country. Again, the subject of the project was "Things that happened in the 60s." I thought the students chose well.

Yeah SI, I knew it was for a class project. It was a bad idea to post it on snapchat with no context though, especially considering the timing of posting it right on the heals of the qb video situation. I do realize that the kid that posted it had nothing to do with the project itself or the football team. I knew there was nothing to it, but the timing of it is just not a good look.

Got the story. Class history project about things that happened in the 60s and a group of students chose segregation. They illustrated segregation by labeling 2 water fountains. A picture was taken by another student and posted on Snapchat with no context which created some controversy which was immediately dealt with by the administration. Anything to add YB?

Coach at Warren County does not teach high school. He owns a business in the community and it has been in the family for a while. He is swamped and has to be there full time from what I understand. Not a lot of outside time I am being told. He does a great job and if he doesn't do it the right way then he doesn't do it at all.

The Transfer portal isn't what's hurting high-school recruits. The covid free year is the problem. It's like adding an entire year of experienced players. Who wouldn't take them over high school players. The NCAA screwed the HS players when they have that free year. The transfer portal allows kids to move, but it would come out in the wash if it weren't for the four classes with an extra year of eligibility. What a terrible move by the NCAA.

Coach Josh is only worried about recruiting the impressionable youth from Northwest, Vine, Gresham, and Whittle Springs. That’s why he’s setting up 8th grade visits.
