  1. I'll take Ripley by 7 in a low scoring game.
  2. Look for Ripley to be much improved on both sides of the ball. They will take this game by at least 2 scores.
  3. Let's go Springfield! The Black and Gold of Peabody are pulling for you!
  4. If a General falls in the the Forrest, does any Tide fan give 2 craps? Congratulations to both teams on an outstanding season. Peabody has had a truly historic run.
  5. If what has been reported in the paper is true, good luck finding anyone to take over this dumpster fire. Additionally, if true, forget that stadium. All the money will be going to lawyers and settlements.
  6. I told you guys this was coming midway through the season. It's not over, there will be more at the close of the school year. The administration at Milan is tanking the program intentionally. They want a big name coach, but need the boosters to foot the bill. What better way to get those checkbooks open? By the way, what about that play calling this year? Highly suspicious.
  7. You Raaaaang? Are Teddy and his staff on the "hot seat" yet? Are the rumors true? Is there a faction working to tank the season? Stay tuned Bulldog fans.
  8. Slight edge to Covington at this point. If Milan can shore up the run D, they will win.
  9. Should be a very interesting game. GC should probably work on defending the pass this week. lol
  10. I personally do not. I hold Milan's program in much higher esteem. Sure the arguments can be made. HC is 5A. Milan's program has regressed. Etc. I'm just not that guy. Not to argue my original point, but I've had a friend from Milan confirm today there are 3 coaches gone from last year's staff. Not just the one I remember. That doesn't include the Jr High Coach. Also, they have added some positions. Most importantly, where do we go watch Football tonight?
  11. Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't 2 go prior to last season? I think both to Henry Co. One was a coordinator I believe. I guess we COULD chalk those up to regime change. OC from last season left for (?) My point is they are not leaving for head coaching jobs or necessarily moving up, just moving. Yes success gives assistant coaches opportunities to move up, but name the last coach to leave Peabody. See where I'm going here? Maybe it's just MORE coaches this year, but I saw a lot of unfamiliar faces on that sideline. Or possibly I have no idea what I'm talking about.
  12. I want to pick LC, but I think UC will do UC things and wear the Falcons down. UC by 7
  13. I don't blame Milan for trying to out athlete Peabody, Milan does have more athletes. 3 fundamental problems: Coaching - Peabody is better. I would put that staff up against any in Tennessee. Vols included. Attitude - I actually heard a kid from Milan talking trash to Peabody fans going into half. (Down by 4 touchdowns) These kids don't understand nobody is afraid of Milan anymore. They have to earn their respect. Continuity - Milan has had a revolving door of coaches for a few years now. What gives?
  14. I don't like saying it myself, but it's the facts. If Milan doesn't win tonight, they need to take a long look in the mirror.
  15. We don't talk about those days around here. lol
