  1. I'd pick Liberty to beat both again. If a team wants to beat Liberty they better do it now. The more into this season they get, the better they will be. By tournament time they should be one of the best in the state once again.
  2. The D played lights out until they ran out of gas late in the fourth quarter. I think any Titans fan would be able to take that kind of performance week after week. Vince had a bad pick and he didn't seem to be his self yesterday. 2 rushes for 2 yards? They didn't even try to run that PA bootleg play that they love to run. For about 2 series in a row I watched Merriman slant hard to the inside, White eventually burned him on that, but I figured they would get Vince out there. Something must have been wrong with him.
  3. I agree. They have put themselves in a hole, and now they must win the next 3. The Titans don't need to have to rely on the Colts game to get into the playoffs. Like Sol said, the Colts could still be in the hunt for a first round bye.
  4. I agree. I watched South Pitt. and I thought that they were the best team I had seen all year. Then I watched Alcoa. They could mop up the West side in 3A. I haven't see Alcoa play since 2005, those sophomores that looked good then are great now. Just like 2005 they have a lot of underclassmen that will be stars next year and the year after. That number 89 will be a monster next year.
  5. Congrats to you and your South Pitt. Pirates. Makes you forget all about Alabama doesn't it? /roflolk.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflolk:" border="0" alt="roflolk.gif" />
  6. South Pitt said they had speed, I didn't know they had this much. They are running wild. McKenzie had a great run, can't hang your head down for bringing home the silver.
  7. Should be a great game, hate that I'll have to miss it. I'll go with Liberty in this one. I'm going to jump on their bandwagon and follow them this year, its unbearable to watch a Lexington game these days. /ph34r.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid="" border="0" alt="ph34r.gif" />
  8. I've heard Torry was one of the best players on the team and until Friday night he was still playing football. I think he tried to do both, but thats a tough thing to do. They should start rolling after the first of the year.
  9. Here's a link to their videos, takes a little while to download but its worth it. http://www.mckenzierebels.com/rebelinsider.html I'd say they are pretty darn good. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  10. Good luck Henry Co. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  11. Good luck to Peabody. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  12. I think Liberty just has a great program. As long as that coaching staff is in place, they will always have a good team, some years they will have great teams.
  13. Wow, 105 pages for a week old thread!! Should have known that McKenzie and Mt. Pleasant would have the longest thread of the week. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" /> Good luck to the Rebels tonight. /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" />
  14. I mentioned him way back in September when I posted on here. I've always said that he was the best player I had ever played against. My senior year I think Toby Champion lined up at FB some and Williams and Jelks played TB. The speed those guys had was unreal.
  15. I was there and I was about 5 feet from him when he got kicked out. I was sitting with the Dyer Co. fans as a matter of fact. One of the guys I was sitting with told me that was C.J.'s brother. I don't know if it was or wasn't. It was a Dyer Co. fan that got kicked out and it was on a play that C.J. got hacked but no foul was called.
  16. I'm going with Mitchell in the upset. Any team that plays up and beats Melrose can't be overlooked as a possible state champion.
  17. This is a great addition to an up and coming program. MTSU has kids thats got major d-1 offers, but choose them.Josh Sain had offeres from major programs but he choose to play on a floor that he was undefeated on. They have really recruited well, and this is a team that play both UT and Memphis. Williams will head another great recruiting class and they should be sitting pretty good about 1-2 years from now at NCAA tournament time.
  18. That was great /thumb[1].gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":thumb:" border="0" alt="thumb[1].gif" /> I'm going with Peabody by 14. They will have the best player on the field, and they are hot right now.
  19. That was crazy, I have never heard of a player in the football playoffs playing in a basketball game during the week. I understand that he is a stellar basketball player too, but they need that kid on the field. Right now all the basketball games are meaningless any, why play football players in a playoff week?. I have tremendous respect for Galiee, but someone should have stepped in and stopped that from happening.
  20. What have you guys been feeding Chris, we need that for the whole Lexington team. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  21. I think Mitchell is a real threat to DL. They have beaten every 3A school in their way, I don't see how DL won't have any problems with them.
  22. I know all about McNairy, I was talking about #10 from Harpeth. Losing Ken is a big loss. But McNairy is very well coached and they have some talent, if they can can keep playing like they are now they could be a dangerous team.
  23. I saw Reeves today, he's not that same little kid I saw running around the court last year. He's bigger and stronger now, if he can shoot the ball like he did last year the sky is the limit for that kid.
  24. Man, that # 10 is a baller. Don't know his name, but he put on a good show here at Lexington. McNairy is just a whole lot better than anybody outside of Selmer realized. They should be fighting it out with Southside for #2 in district 12. Bolivar has a chance to have another special season. Dyer Co. beat them today, but I would still take Bolivar 9 out of 10 times if they played that many. District 12 is going to be a monster again this year, I think Harpeth will have a hard time with any of the top 3 from this side.
  25. He just didn't agree with the refs letting some fouls go. I kind of see his point, but you have to know how to conduct yourself at a high school ballgame and he did not. To make a long story short, there was one ref that couldn't keep up with the super fast pace of the game. He got in his ear, and that was that.
