I'm sorry to hear that.  I was looking forward tothe best in the country. seeing him go up against.  I hope to see him there.

I understand Nick was training hard for this competition and was determined to make a big showing (which I'm certain he would have), but he knew he wasn't 100% last week in Chattanooga and later found out why... He will not be competing for a month or so, unfortunately.

He'll be fine for some future college wrestling/hardware though. thumb

Well its a bad thing for nick to be sick but its a good thing for wrestling. Now he will train and prepare for the Jr. National in Fargo this summer. Cant wait thil then and see him compete in July.

To all the wrestlers from TN. best of luck wrestle well, make yourself proud of your accomplishments no matter how you end up in Cleveland, OH. Just to get to this point has been a great achievement. Safe and injury free times are wished for all.

-Dunning is the only one left. He is one match away from All American.

-Danny Coleman and Pete Miller were knocked out of the last rounds tonight.

-Pete Miller had a great weekend and did a great job.

-Cody Cleveland beat in overtime the round prior to the Cleveland kids.

-Luke Borneman was leading 5-0 and then was reversed and turned to tie it 5-5 and was pinned in the 1st round.

Didn't see the Bond Davis loss.

Justin Knox out in the 3rd round due to injury.

Stewart Allen made it further than Hazlett who was beat twice in overtime.

Safe travel home to all and good luck to Dunning tomorrow.

    • Best-of-three sectional series vs East Robertson at home starting Wednesday.  They put us out last year at this point.  Go Pirates!!
    • I don't believe they have anyone that is surbers caliber but a decent staff overall.

    • Congratulations to the Warrior baseball team winning the Region Championship.  Last night the football team beat Franklin Co 33-0 in their spring scrimmage. Warriors looked very good. Missing a few players who were playing baseball but still absolutely dominated. A lot of young ones got in halfway through the 3rd when the score reached 33-0. QB Tilton Pickett looked very sharp.  Sam Pickett is on another level this season. Seems to have put on 15 to 20 lbs in the off season and added a step as well. Transfer from last year Williamson caught numerous balls and is very elusive. Lots of athletes on this team. Defense was smothering and will only get better. The head coach from Sewanee was in attendance and offered 2 kids after the game. Could be a special year.
