Just to set the record straight; I was not interested and never applied. However, I could have been lured into the position for the right terms. The money needs to be right and I don't plan to spend a lot of time out in the hot sun.

 

I don't know the story about Crawford but I'm sure that you guys were dying to know what my intentions where.

The DNJ announced today that Coach Alsup is going to Siegel to be their defensive line coach.

HUGE surprise.....NOT!! The  loyalty ties are very deep b/t Watson and Alsup.

I don't know if it's true, but I've been hearing rumors that Alsup stepping down as HC may not have been entirely his idea. I've heard that Mrs. Vick may have forced him to stepdown. This is just a rumor right now, but I thought I'd put it out there and see what other people hve to say.

from the top implies Crawford did not apply as in was never interested

 

2priceless implies Crawford was very interested and did everything but apply

My impecable sources say he was definetly interested but the $$$$ were just not there as well as a couple other issues.

Some other things my sources told me in the past

1. No one will ever pay to buy water in a bottle

 

2. Airlines are an excellent investment

 

3. Buy a Beta max vcr tape player the vhs format will never make it

 

4. Howard Dean is a lock for president

 

5. The 2004 Riverdale team will be lucky to get past the 2nd round

but other than those he has been right on target.

From my source-principal approached him, made a hard run, but in the end there was no compelling reason for him to go. Too late in the season, assembling a staff would be a problem, loyalty to current staff and players at BHS, and very happy there.

Again, his criteria for leaving his current position did not exist.

 

Probably had a better chance at him prior to last season.

The question is will Roger Perry be the next Head Coach at Blackman High School and will the assistants that are there stay. That is the real question. If not Perry then who. I thank Coach Perry would do a great job and has a proven record.
