Josh Brown from Hickman County is 6'3" 217 pounds, plays RB and LB. Has quickness and is a great worker. He also punts pretty good.

All of these kids deserve a good look by the scouts. They stand out against good competition.

I have to believe Markei Guy from Westview is one of the top players after his 253 rushing yards against Huntingdon yesterday. Also had a kickoff return for a TD....

Watch in the next few years for Bearden sophmores Dawson Halliday, Torey Works, Nathan Hamilton, and Brandon Pemberton. Halliday started at quarterback as a freshman, has excellent mobility, an accurate arm, and superb attitude/leadership. Works, Hamilton, and Pemberton are all excellent running backs with "Rockwood" (Works) being the best tailback at Bearden since the loss of Robert Anderson (A 1000+ rusher). Hamilton is a very powerful fullback and is one of the most aggresive in his class, where as Pemberton is a fullback with the ability to find seams and take the ball down the field. Region 1 5-A should watch out for these players during the next 3 years.

Coheleach Holmes from Hixson.

 

He has about 320 rushing yards on about 35 tries. He's hardly ever brought down on initial contact, and has a 3.0 GPA.

Cardinal ... I am confused. I've always been taught that they team with the best team would be the best. Players are great, but if they don't work together ... the machine don't run so good.
