Notes of interest: In Knoxville Paper this morning, Lynn Haynes is second in rushing yards behind the kid from Scott Co, Rockwood also had a running back in the top 10-15, and Coalfields Brandon Davis is in the top ten.

I guess being second in rushing yards in East Tennessee proves CYJackets point about OS team "not doing anything extremely well".

CYJacket no malice intended, just some good ole fashion ribbing!!

Let's not lose sight of the fact that OS is playing Rockwood tonight and Coalfield got it handed to them last week so get over it.  I know my Tigers took a beating also, but 9 times out of 10 Coalfield would not even be able to keep up with teams like Rockwood and OS anyway.  You had better get ready for Midway tonight.

I have given my statement on this game, you might want those cat fans to get back on subject. It degenerated when I predicted they would win, and said something they couldn't agree with. As for Coalfield not being able to keep up with Rockwood, or OS 9 out of 10 times, yeah I guess you're right so getting it "handed to us" is not that big of a deal huh? But is when Midway hands it to Rockwood.

Sure are, Davis averages 7.8 yards per carry. Which I would rather have a 7.8 yard per carry rusher vs. less. Now back to the subject. OS wins.

    • Ole Benny boy lol. I forgot about Harder. He was tough as crap. He graduated in ‘09. I went to the OR/Maryville game that year (great game, btw) and he collided with Jacob West (I think was his name) and you could hear it clearly at the top of the visitor bleachers. Man, it was a stick. He could lay some wood son. All those guys were tough, Elliott included.
    • They do have good community support for sure and did when I coached under Z for 4 years. (I was on that staff that turned them around a little from winning 1 game a year to actually being competitive).  Great Kids and Great Community over there.  They have done some good things with the facilities from when i coached too.
    • I personally will not mind that one bit.  It seems like a really strange fit to me from the git go.
    • Hey, I am a big fan of LC even before my friend SC got that job.  Every time I have been down there for a game, their fans have showed up and stayed positive cheering on the boys regardless of the score.  I think they have great support and great potential.  I'm coming down for some home games this year for sure.  I'm pulling for LC.
    • They didn't erect one of Zeller when he took them to the Quarter Finals in 2011 getting beat by a TD by Powell and Dy'Shawn mobley or in 2012 when they went 9-3 and finished 2nd in the conference behind Maryville. (That conference was stacked too with teams like Maryville, Catholic, West, Farragut, and Bearden)
