The Sullivan South Rebels will be yet again a powerhouse in the mountain lakes for a 2nd year. With a Junior Returning at Quarterback Curt Phillips who was awarded Off.Player of the Year in the Mtn. Lakes, and 3 of the 5 starting O line, 2 which were 1st team All Conference(Ryan Collier&Seth Pearson) plus many sophmores coming up to run the ball, not counting an amazing freshman coming up Taylor Fletcher.

Now lets talk about their dominating D...which was ranked 1st in the state until their 3rd round loss to Mo West.

Returning 2 Awesome LB's Justin Dykes who was awarded Def. Player of the year in the Mtn. Lakes and Paul Wingfield who was 1st team AC.

And lets not fail to mention their anchor in the middle, returning 1st team all conference DT Andrew Murray who as a Junior is 6'3 285. He will be joined on the line by 4.4 40 speedster Ryan Collier.

so as u can see....South will yet again be a force to be reckoned with in the Mtn. Lakes and the State.

Listen up guys TC has a pee-wee and a middle school team that went undefeated this year so don't think about the legend stopping soon there is plenty of talent in this town and the greats of today will have children. TC is known for their sports and it won't end anytime soon

Which teams, any class, do you think will move from underdog to champions within the next 3 years? Base your prediction on coaching, player strength and numbers in their underclassmen, and region competition.

Henry County Pats. There are loaded with talent next year, and have a great coach.

Clinton High School, yes, Clinton High School. No one can say that they have more talent or speed coming than the dragons. The 8th grade class that is coming is LOADED. They absoloutely dominated middle school football this year beating their combined opponents by a score of 374-26. If the players stay in town they will be special. The problem is we have some of them escaping to Anderson County and Oak Ridge. Many people have stated that they have never seen a middle school team that quick. People say they are better than the group that came through Clinton in the early 90's and if you are a student of high school football then you remember Clinton being dominant during the early-mid 90's.
