McKenzie is 3-1 with 2 region wins, a win over a tough 2A Dresden team, and a close loss to a good 2A Trenton Peabody team. I think they are more than worthy of top 15 honors, and probably top 10!

It seems that Trousdale is the one to beat at the present with the next 4 or 5 following close behind. It probably comes down to who stays healthy and who wants it the most.

I will be shocked if TC gets beat in the regular season with Friendship having the best chance to do so, but I dont even see that being very close! Once the playoffs start, its a whole new ballgame and TC will face some good teams, but I dont see them getting beat!

By looking at this I'd say you were a huge Region 2 fan I agree with Chips Ahoy McKenzie has to be in the top 15 and should be in the top 10. Lake County might also be a top 15 pick.

Union City's 2 losses were against were against very good 2A teams and they played hard, UC was just outplayed. They are 2-0 in region games. If you guys think that puts them at number 9 then ok but you'll be surprised when UC comes knocking at your door. McKenzie should also be looked at as a top 15 team. I haven't personally seen them play but i've heard good things.

I think Jo Byrns should be alot higher, but hey what do i know they just beat a descent NCS team 46-19. They were winning 46-0 at halftime. Starters didnt play after the first half. 2 and 3 teams got alot of playing time.

I am a hardcore Oneida fan. I played there for the four best years of my life. I know that they have not played the true Oneida style of football yet, but I have faith in my team. I don't see how you can place Harriman over Oneida though. They have yet to play this year and if I'm not mistaken, Harriman hasn't beaten Oneida in years. No offense to Harriman, I have some buddies down there but I don't see how that is possible. Other than that, right now that looks pretty dang good. Just like it has been said all year, TC is going to be the team to beat in 1a this year. Good luck to my boys down in Oneida. Take advantage to the week off and be prepared. Midway is a team that cannot the underestimated. Them good ol South of the River boys are some of the toughest you will see.

it was against martin westview and milan, two top 5 2A schools in the state.

Lookout Valley deserves to be top 15, if Midway does. Lookout Valley beat Silverdale 46-0, 33-0 at the half. Silverdale beat Midway. Lookout Valley also led South Pittsburg something around 21-14 in the second quarter but ended up getting beat around 42-21. Edited September 18, 2005 by Indian
