Boy, this place sure ain't got no smarter since I've been gone :P

 

 

Well, I promised I'd be back in November, sorry missed it a few days.

 

 

Ok, Let's review:

 

Pujols is MVP as jdk had said he would be and was ridiculed by BFL and others. JDk was right--this is fact and can not be argued.

 

Braves Bullpen was their downfall in playoffs just as jdk had said and was ridiculed. Jdk was right. Surely not even bfl will dispute this.

 

I guess the Big 8 North is best division in football because Colorado, Iowa State, Nebraska, Missouri, Kansas and K state are .500--jdk right on uniqueness and mediocrity and parity not being same as best.

 

Still would rather have 3 out of 4 world championships over multiple consecutive top 8 finishes. Jdk right on this one too, although BFL will never admit it. They seem to never miss an opportunity to blast Cardinals playoff failures, which I totally agree with, while basking in glory of Braves division championship.

 

 

The sad part is it was that these were not just the genius of jdk but rather just common sesnse fact that everyone except BFL knew jdk just brought up in conversation when the bfl went on one of it's tangents. The only recourse bfl has was to attack jdk when they knew he was right.

 

Well JDK right on all counts. Fortunately I have found another venue to talk baseball where people can exhibit common sense and accept, discuss and argue different viewpoints without being so childish as many are here.

 

Well just thought I'd drop back in as promised, may drop back in next year to see if any objective intelligent life has moved in here--I'm outta here.

Every major Baseball analyst in America has raved about how the Braves were able to win another division title in the TOUGHEST DIVISION IN BASEBALL! (All the team in the NL east were above .500, not .500!

 

Yet the Cards have not won 3 of 4 WS, so I havent a clue as to what you are refering to? As for the BFL picking at the Cards, you guys were the ones saying you was winning the WS and no one would stop you!

 

Glad you have found another venue, your post were making all of us a little dumber! Must be a Cards website where everyone agrees with you! :lol:

I just think it is stupid to open your mouth, when you team has done no better than the team you are talking about! All I have heard for the last 5-6 months, is that it dont mean nothing if you dont win the WS, well guess what? neither the Braves nor the Cards won the WS, so why post such an idiotic remark as JDK? He was always a trouble maker on here and always will be as long as he post! :ph34r:

      Coalfield definitely isn't the same team they've had the past few years. They are still the favorites to make it out of their region because of their pitching. They have 1 arm that sits low to mid 80s and 2 other arms that are mid to high 70s with good off speed stuff. If you can avoid their top 3 bats in their lineup then you have a shot to beat them. Their 4-9 hitters are average at best. Wartburg's ace was able to shut them down last week in the game Wartburg won 4-2.

      It is the longest season. Plus, 30 games a year. No Christmas break. I would say basketball is the most time consuming.

      Winfree's senior year was the season she needed to secure more college interest. That opportunity was taken away from her. A lot of false assumptions can be made about what happened and what the options are. Unfortunately, the former coach and administration did not allow Winfree to have due process. A lawsuit was filed for a reason, and it will run its course by people who conduct discovery and take depositions. Unless the parties settle out of court, a lot of the pertinent issues will come to the public surface.
