Great list! Finally someone else who agress with me about Bobby Dodd. I'd say he (out of all DB QBs had the best career) and he was one of the best qbs ever.

Nice one Captain Exaggeration! Duran couldn't hit 95 m.p.h. in his car. But once again everyone at DB is made out to be better than they really are. By the way how did DB do in the playoffs this year?

I saw Duran pitch only once against Knox Halls in the playoffs last season and he did throw a couple at 90 mph and one at 91 mph. Not bad for a 16 year old 6'3" 230lb boy, wait until he matures.

OK I heard 95. Not trying to make anything up here. I heard on the radio that one had been clocke at 95. If we have confirmed 91 mph and he is a year younger as a Senior, I am sure 95 is not impossible in the near future even if he has not hit 95 mph, which I think the announcer said.

Playoffs, DB lost to a team that beat Oak Ridge, one of the best teams in 5A, can you say that. Come back to me when you beat Morristown West. Save your smack for next year when you guys come to J Fred, then lets see what you have to say.

Exactly right. Cohen and Blyth at UK felt Duran, at his age, that they could make a monster out of him in a couple of years. I know this first hand. His fastball was more often in the 88-89 range in high school although I was told by Blyth that he had hit a high of 91.

Are you the same person as volmancsott with another screen name, or some other crybaby looser DB hater ? I bet your a fan of some team that DB has beat ten years in a row. Or maybe its the first time your team has been in the playoffs longer than DB. Either way you should really "ham it up" this year, because this opertunity only comes around for you about every 10 years.

    • Harriman was better than what I anticipated. They had good skill guys and a QB that’s gonna make a lot of teams look silly. They had some silly pre snap penalties but it’s just spring and I guess that’s expected.    Oneida looks the part. They are big upfront and got a stable of backs that’s gonna carry them this year. They have a few playmakers at receiver also. They have a new receiver that has only played basketball till this year and he is very athletic. The question is can we find a QB to consistently get them the ball. They played 2-3 kids there and none looked great but they didn’t look awful either. The  defense is gonna be tough again but it’s very early and a lot can change between now and the fall.     It was good just to get out and watch some ball. I don’t know if Oneida has the team to win the region this year but just what I saw tonight I think they may be in the conversation come November.
