Oh i'm pretty sure it wont keep any milan faithfuls away from the game tomorrow.. estimated crowd at 8,000

The Mt. Pleasant vs Jo Byrns game is being estimated to have around 5,000 ppl.

 

pretty good for a lil ole 1A playoff game.

Cold weather favors the power teams. I'm not sure what the other schools like to run, but I know MP whole offensive scheme is geared toward the power game. I think MP can win no matter what the weather is, but the bitter cold can only favor the Tigers over JB.

Knox Catholic will play well in the cold. Their a power running team that likes to grind it out. They should have the advantage with the weather. Good luck to both teams.

Keep getting in those shots Dandy. Deny it if you will but it's obvious that remarks like "to those still in the hunt" are your way to keep it going. Why would you even need to say it? I'm sure your reply will be that it wasn't meant that way and that we're all just overreacting but you kow the truth. I will say, of all the posting that I've seen on here through the last few years, you were the last one that I would have expected to take the stance that you have. Grow up already.

It's about time we played in football weather, we start watching these games in tank tops and shorts and with some effort determination and okay luck, we get to play in snow.

 

Someone tell me, I hear rain is forecast for Chattanooga Friday night?

 

Has ND played in the rain much this year?

 

I love a rain game, nothing like a lot of mud to make things interesting.

It no doubt affects the kicking game. But it favors power teams, and teams with players that play both ways. Anybody thats played in a cold weather game knows its a lot easier to stay on the field than it is to sit on the sideline while your offense or defense is in a long drive and then get on the field. Unless your 1 of these schools that have heaters and gameday jackets, I had an old school coach, we froze.

I don't believe the players notice the cold as much as the fans...... And the fans really forget the cold when their respective teams are going well on the field....

 

When you are up and yellin' it doesn't matter what temp it is...... That is until halftime.....
