How many seniors on middleton's team last year? How many starters / players did they lose?

 

What kind of numbers has the kid from Union City put up thus far?

 

its still too early to tell...but there are many good Single A teams this year that have a chance...i would like to see a few more of them play..but once its tournament time teams show what they are really made of...i cant wait to see the outcome of this years state... it should be the best in years...good luck to all teams...

UC will be in the BORO in March :o Go ahead and bank on it..

Weddle is a Man among boys, especially in 1A basketball where it usually just takes one superior athlete to make a run at a state title..

There are a lot of Single A teams that can beat AA and AAA teams..Just remember ..there is one team in Single A that beat Middleton ,the state champs,once last year and should and would have beat them again at their own gym if Tony Tyler would have hit his last free throw with 20 seconds left in the sub-state..And then it would have been no overtime and no State Championship...But Middleton did win and I will give them credit for that..Just letting you know..that at this time ..Lake Co is undefeated and have practically that same team back...

 

I would really enjoy seeing Bolivar and Lake County play. Bolivar would crush Lake County!!!!! I can't believe you say that Lake County is better than Middleton.

Middleton is 6-0 right now and has already beaten Bolivar,Ripley Tn.,Adamsville,Mcnairy Central, Fayette Ware, and Lexington. Who has Lake County played nobody.. Ask Lake County what happened to them in summer camp. Tony Tyler was their and they still got beat by 20.....

Middleton lost five seniors last year... Three of them was starters... They got back most of their palyers including State MVP Marq Murden and other excellent players Chris Buggs, Al Mckinnie, Jamicheal Mckinnie, Johnnie Tate, and Cody Childers. They also have some great young players that can come off the bench and give quality minutes. Everyone is saying that Middleton has a better team than they did last year....

      Well nothing new, the Mustangs are really talented again this coming season!  They very well could go undefeated in regular season.  We shall see what happens in postseason.  I think the path to state title game is a little clearer than years past.  I think the Stangs are going to be really good and I think the traditional teams around in 2A are not going to be as strong.  It should be a fun season!

      I would not put too much stock into the UH over Eagleville. From what I understand they were pretty banged up in that tourney. Catcher was out, they were throwing pretty deep in their bullpen and a few key players were beat up in their infield. Sounds like they are pretty healthy heading into the district tournament. Look at their schedule, they played some really good teams.
